topolino tablet is a compact multimedia camera system that supports pupils, students and professionals to easily fulfill their tasks. It’s a 13″ Windows tablet with a pre-installed magnifying- and text recognition software, that comes with a foldable stand on which a swivel-tilt distance camera can be mounted. Writing, reading text, viewing pictures, looking at objects, distance viewing, etc. can be done effortless and with fun. The split-screen function offers display of two different images simultaneously on the screen, e.g. distance camera and internal camera. Magnification level and details to be displayed can be adjusted by swiping on the touch screen. Due to the integrated text recognition with read-aloud-function you can take a picture of a text and double click on the desired part of the text that you want to be read aloud.Based on a Windows operating system, topolino tablet can be upgraded to a fully-fledged mobile workstation with a mouse and keyboard, as well as all common office applications and assistance software such as SuperNova.
